It's been a year since Brizee left Nick. Nick looked for her nonstop and never gave up on her. He finally tracked down her parents in Missouri. He went to their house. He knocked on the door. The door opened and a woman stood there.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"Mrs. Hardin?" Nick asked.

"Yes, I'm Laura Hardin, can I help you," she said.

"I'm Nick Carter, of the Backstreet Boys," Nick said.

"I know who you are, Nick, come in," Laura said. Nick came in and Laura closed the door.

"I am looking for Brizee, you know she came to Florida married to Brian, she is now married to me, but she left me, and I want to know where she is, Mrs. Hardin, I love her, I love her so much," Nick said.

"She sent me this letter, I haven't heard from her since," Laura said. Nick took it and read it.

Nick looked at her. He closed his eyes and buried his face in his hands.

"That came seven months ago," Laura said.

"And you haven't heard from her since?" Nick asked.

"No," Laura said.

"So you don't know if she's alive or okay?" Nick said crying.

"I'm sorry, Nick," Laura said.

"I have to go, thanks for the help," Nick said.

"Nick, if I hear from her, I'll call you," Laura said. Nick gave her his number and left and went back to Florida. He went to Kevin's house and knocked on the door. Kevin opened the door.

"Nick, did you find her," Kevin said.

"No, I found her mother and she sent a letter, seven months ago,
Nick said. He gave Kevin the letter. Kevin read it.

"Oh shit," Kevin said.

"She is out there somewhere with your child!" Nick said.

"She's your wife, Nick, that child is yours, too, not biologically, but any other way there is," Kevin said.

"She can't come back to me, having your baby and all, you just ruined my life!" Nick said. He grabbed the letter and went home. He walked in and saw Brizee holding a baby. She looked at him.

"I couldn't do it anymore, I couldn't live without you anymore, it was too hard, I would think about you every night and day, I couldn't sleep without you, I was so stupid to leave you," Brizee said.

"I suppose that is Kevin's baby," Nick said.

"You went to my mother," Brizee said.

"Yeah, just got back," Nick said.

"This is Krystal Ann, Krystal Ann Carter," Brizee said.

"Carter?" Nick asked.

"I had another paternity test taken, only they did the test three times with no mistakes, this is your daughter, Nick, our daughter," Brizee said.

"Are you sure?" Nick asked.

"Positive, we can go for another test if you aren't sure," Brizee said. Nick sat down.

"I know you would want to be sure, I'm a father," Nick said. He looked at the baby.

"She looks like you, she has your eyes, I know I don't have blue eyes, and Kevin doesn't either," Brizee said. Nick looked at Krystal.

"She has my nose, my eyes, my hair," Nick said.

"She is our daughter, Nick, our baby girl, we made her, our love created her, she is an angel, so precious, I don't know what I'd do without her," Brizee said.

"And I don't know what I'd do without you, don't ever leave me again," Nick said.

"Never, not in this lifetime," Brizee said.

"Good," Nick said. The front door opened and Kevin, Howie, Brian, and AJ came in. They saw Brizee and Krystal. Kevin stood there.

"Guys, meet Krystal Ann Carter, and yes she is mine, Kev," Nick said. Kevin smiled.

"That's good, that way there won't be any hard feelings," Kevin said. Nick nodded.

"How old is she?" Brian asked.

"Three months, she was born on January 28th," Brizee said smiling at Nick.

"On her father's birthday, that is good!" Brian said.

"Yup," Brizee said.

"She has her daddy's blond hair, his nose, and his eyes, Nick, you will have to fight the boys away," AJ said.

"She ain't dating until she's thirty," Nick said.

"Nick, honey, she'll be fine," Brizee said stroking his hand which was on her knee.

"I know, Kevin, AJ, Howie, you three are coming with me, we are going shopping, Brian, stay with Brizee and Krystal," Nick said.

"Okay," Brian said. Nick, Kevin, Howie, and AJ left. Brian sat down.

"I can't believe it, Nick's a dad, wow," Brian said.

"I know," Brizee said.

"Nick said that you will always love me," Brian said.

"Yeah, that's true, B, you were my first love," Brizee said.

"I will always love you," Brian said.

"I hope you find someone who will make you happy," Brizee said.

"I have, Briz, she's already taken," Brian said.

"What," Brizee said. Brian leaned over and kissed her deeply.

"You made me happy, Brizee, no one can," Brian said stroking her cheek. She got up and went upstairs and put Krystal down for a nap. She went back downstairs and took Brian's hand and pulled him upstairs. She pulled him into the guest bedroom and closed the door and locked it. She went over to Brian and kissed him hungrily.

"I know you are with Nick and you want to stay with him, let me make love to you one last time," Brian said moving his hands over her body. She pulled off her shirt and shorts. She removed her bra and panties and stood before him naked.

"Take me, Brian, make love to me," Brizee said. He removed his clothes and they sank to the floor and he put a condom on and he slowly and gently made love to her. He laid on top of her.

"How can I let you go," Brian said.

"You have to, Brian, like I have to let you go, I love Nick with all my heart and soul, he and Krystal are my life," Brizee said.

"I know you love him, and I know you two belong together, we can be best friends," Brian said.

"That's all we can be," Brizee said. He got up and got dressed and hugged her and left. She went to check on Krystal and saw her sleeping. She sat down on the bed gently and watched her sleep.
