A month later, they were on the road. Nick and Brizee sat in the back cuddled on the bed, watching a movie. 

      How about getting married sometime soon, Nick said.

      Are you sure youll have time for it, I mean, this is a long tour and you guys will be busy, I dont want to be in the way, Brizee said. Nick kissed her neck.

      I want to do this, I want to have a ceremony, and a honeymoon, well do it during a day off and honeymoon that night, Nick said.

      One night, thats a honeymoon, Brizee said.

      Hey, I have my ways of making it work, Nick said.

      You sound like you have been married before, Brizee said.

      I have not been married before but I have been with girls, but that is the past and you are my future, Nick said holding her close.

      Maybe we could go on a longer honeymoon after the tour is over, Brizee said.

      More traveling, Nick said.

      Its just a thought, nothing final, Brizee said.

      Where would you like to go? Nick asked.

      Bahamas, Brizee said.

      Hmm, we could do that, Nick said.

      But it doesnt matter, as long as Im with you, I will be okay, I feel safe in your arms, Brizee said.

      I will not let anything happen to you, Nick said.

That night, after the show, Brizee went to her and Nicks hotel room. She got in the shower and got dressed in pjs and got into bed and laid there. Kevin caught up with Nick at the hotel.

      Nick, I have to talk to you, its about Brizee, Kevin said.

      What is it, Nick said.

      She is using you, man, she set up the marriage, she has been lying to you from the start, I called every lawyer in Kansas City, none of them have talked to Brizee or seen the marriage license, it has to be a fake, Kevin said.

      Kevin, Brizee wouldnt lie about something like this, she is not that kind of person, I know you are just trying to protect me, but I am a big boy and can take care of myself, Nick said.

Nick, Im telling the truth, here, Kevin said. Nick looked at the papers Kevin had.

      Oh god, Nick said. He went up to his room. Brizee came out of the bedroom.

      Hey, whats wrong, Brizee said.

      You lied to me, Nick said.

      What are you talking about? Brizee asked.

      The marriage, Brizee, the whole thing was a setup, wasnt it, Kevin called every lawyer in Kansas City, none of them have talked to you about the marriage license, which must be fake, Nick said.

      I had nothing to do with the marriage, okay, that is the truth, I am not a liar, Nick, Brizee said.

      Did you really talk to a lawyer about that marriage license? Nick asked.

      Yeah, I did, my uncle is a lawyer, to protect you guys and myself, I called him and told him not to tell anyone about our marriage, Brizee said.

      I dont know if I can believe you, Nick said.

      You know what, I dont care, I will just go and you wont have to see me again which I think is what you want, Brizee said. She went back to the bedroom and changed and packed her stuff together. She got her stuff together and went out and saw Kevin talking to Nick. She went over and knocked Kevin over with her bags. He got up and looked at her.

      Oh, Im sorry, didnt see you there, thanks for everything, Kevin, I really appreciate what you did, what was it, oh right, ruining my life, telling lies but who cares, right, you are happy that I am out of Nicks life, right, you got your wish, Brizee said. She walked out the door. She got on the elevator. She walked out of the elevator and saw Brian and AJ.

      Goodbye, Brizee said.

      Briz, wait, what happened, Brian said.

      Ask your cousin, Brizee said.

      Dont go, Briz, Brian said.

      Nick doesnt want me here, Kevin doesnt either, just ask them and Im sure you wont want me here either, Brizee said.

      Come over here, Brian said. They sat down. Brizee told them everything.

      I know you, Briz, you wouldnt do that, Brian said.

      I wouldnt, I thought I was never going to get married, Brizee said. 

      Brizee, you arent the type of girl who would do a thing like that, Brian said.

      I should get going, Brizee said.

      Briz, dont go, Brian said.

      Nick doesnt want me here, I cant be where Im not wanted, I will keep in touch, Brizee said. She hugged him and went out the door. She got into a cab and headed for the airport. She got on the plane and headed back to Missouri.
