Five days went by. Brizee had everyone over to welcome Brian home. She was in the kitchen fixing some snacks when Nick came in.

"Hey," Nick said.

"Hi," Brizee said.

"Is Brian back?" Nick asked.

"He should be back anytime," Brizee said.

"Anybody here?" Nick asked.

"Kevin, Howie, and AJ are out back," Brizee said.

"You look good," Nick said.

"Nick, please don't flirt with me," Brizee said.

"Why not, it's harmless," Nick said.

"Because it's wrong and I know how you feel about me and it's not going to work," Brizee said.

"All I said was that you look good, I meant it in a friend's way," Nick said.

"Well, I didn't know that," Brizee said.

"I'm going out back to talk to the guys," Nick said. He went out back and saw Kevin, AJ, and Howie sitting by the pool talking. Kevin looked up and saw Nick.

"Hey Nick, what's up," Kevin said.

"Kev, I have to talk to you," Nick said. Kevin got up and they went over and sat down. Kevin looked at Nick.

"What is it, Nick," Kevin said.

"I want to be with her so badly," Nick said.

"Nick, Brizee is married to Brian and she's happy, if you care about her in any way, you would want her to be happy, she is happy with him, and he is happy with her, Brian loves her," Kevin said.

"But I love her, too, she is the one for me, Kev, I know it, and I know she feels the same way about me, she just won't admit it," Nick said. Kevin looked at him.

"Look, Brian is your best friend, your Frick, okay, if you want him to stay your best friend, you stay away from his wife," Kevin said.

"I don't know if I can," Nick said.

"You will only hurt Brian and Brizee," Kevin said.

"I know, but I can't help it," Nick said.

"Nick, just don't go after Brizee, okay," Kevin said as Brizee came out with the snacks.

"Brian called, he's on his way, he's at the airport," Brizee said.

"How did he sound?" Kevin asked.

"Happy to be coming home," Brizee said.

"Are you happy that he's coming home," AJ said.

"Yup," Brizee said aware of Nick's stare.

"Hey guys!" Brian said coming out. Brizee smiled and ran to Brian. He smiled and took her in his arms and hugged her tight.

"I missed you!" Brizee said.

"I missed you, too," Brian said burying his face in her neck.

"Hey, B!" AJ said.

"Hey cuz!" Kevin said.

"Hey Frick!" Nick said.

"Hey Brian!" Howie said.

"Hey guys," Brian said looking at them.

"How was the tournament?" Kevin asked.

"Did good, raised $10,000," Brian said wrapping his arms around Brizee and holding her close.

"That's good," Howie said. Brizee hugged Brian but Brian pulled away and went inside. Brizee stood there. Kevin came over to her.

"I'll talk to him," Kevin said. He went inside. Brizee sat down and looked at her hands. She felt someone sit beside her. She looked and saw Nick.

"You okay?" Nick asked.

"I don't know what is wrong with him, he didn't have a problem before," Brizee said.

"I'm sure Kevin will find out," Nick said putting his hand on her knee. Brizee looked at him and looked at his hand on her knee. She moved her knee and got up and went inside. She heard voices. She stood at the doorway and saw Kevin and Brian talking.

"Brian, why did you do it," Kevin said.

"I don't know, okay, I was stupid," Brian said.

"You slept with Leighanne, Brian, you are married, to Brizee, who loves you, and you love her, right," Kevin said.

"I love Brizee, Kev, I do," Brian said.

"You have to be honest with her," Kevin said.

"I can't, I'll lose her and I don't want to lose her, she is the best thing that came into my life and I don't want to lose her," Brian said.

"Brian, this will eat you up inside if you don't tell her," Kevin said. Nick came up behind her. He saw Brian and Kevin talking. Nick cleared his throat. Brian and Kevin looked up and saw them and Brian's eyes widened.

"Briz, how much did you hear?" Brian asked.

"Most of it," Brizee said. She went upstairs to the bedroom and got out her stuff. Brian came in with Kevin and Nick behind him.

"Briz," Brian said.

"I'm out of here," Brizee said.

"Briz, no," Brian said.

"Why, huh, so you can have another affair, so you can hurt me again," Brizee said crying.

"It won't happen again, I swear to you, it was only one time and that will never happen again, I will do anything to make it up to you, just don't leave me, please," Brian said. She looked at him.
