Three months later, Nick returned home and looked around his house. He sat down. He went to sleep. The next morning, he went searching for his wife.

Brizee arrived at the Sports Authority at the Tampa Bay Mall where she worked. She saw her friend, Andrea.

      Hey, Brizee said.

      Hi Brizee, how are you today, Andrea said.

      Im fine, tired, been having weird dreams, Brizee said.

      Want to talk about them, Andrea said.

      They are all about the same guy, all I see is his face, hes heartbroken, calling out for me, Brizee said.

      Who? Andrea said.

      Nick Carter, Brizee said.

      Wow, some dream, oh my god, there he is, Andrea said. Brizee looked and ducked behind the counter.

      Dont say anything about me being here, Brizee said. Andrea nodded and looked at Nick.

      Can I help you, sir, Andrea asked.

      Yeah, Im looking for someone, shes my age, almost as tall as me, light brown hair, brown eyes, her name is Brizee, have you seen anyone like her around here, Nick said.

      Nope, I see a lot of people around here so its hard to keep track of all of them, Andrea said.

      Okay, thanks, Nick said. He left the store. Andrea made sure he was gone and she pulled Brizee to the backroom.

      Okay, why is he looking for you, Andrea said.

      He and I dated, and well, I couldnt handle being his girl so I left him, Brizee said.

      Briz, any girl would do anything to be with you, and here you are, hiding from him, when he is looking for you, Andrea said.

      Its complicated, Brizee said. They heard the bell ring. Andrea went out and saw Nick.

      Hi again, Andrea said.

      Here is a picture of her, please, if you can help me, I would really appreciate it, Nick said. Andrea looked at the picture.

      Hold on, Andrea said. She went back.

      Briz, hes desperate, go to him, he obviously needs you, Andrea whispered.

      I cant, Brizee whispered.

      Briz, dont make me tell him you are here, Andrea said.

      Andrea, please, I cant be with him, please, if you are my friend, you will not tell him Im here, Brizee whispered. Andrea looked at her and nodded. She went out and looked at Nick.

      Im sorry, if I see her, I will let you know, Andrea said.

      Thanks, Nick said. He left. Andrea made sure he was gone and went to the backroom.

      Briz, he looked heartbroken, Andrea said.

      I know, I just cant be with him, Im finally happy to be on my own, to be on my own person, I didnt like who I was when I was with him, Brizee said.

      Briz, if he comes in, I wont tell him that I know you, Andrea said. Brizee smiled and Andrea went out front. She saw Brian and Kevin come in.

      Can I help you? Andrea asked.

      Yeah, you can tell Brizee to come out, we know shes here, Brian said.

      I dont know who you are talking about, Andrea said.

      We know she is here, Kevin said.

      Im sorry, there was someone here looking for her but I dont know this Brizee, Im the only one who works here, Andrea said.

      Brizee, we know you are here! Brian said. Nick came in.

      Shes here, isnt she, Nick said.

      Guys, I dont know who you are talking about, okay, I am the only one here, Im not lying, okay, Andrea said.

      Shes covering for her, Nick said. There was a crash in the backroom. The guys looked at each other.  Nick walked back there and saw Brizee. She looked at him and looked away. Brian and Kevin came up behind him.

      We have to talk, Nick said.

      No, Brizee said.

      Guys, leave her alone, she is doing fine without you, Andrea said. Nick looked at her.

      You know about me, Nick said.

      She told me you two dated, Andrea said.

      Wrong, Brizee and I are married, no one but the guys and my family and her family knows, she left me, Nick said.

      Yeah, well, she wanted to get away from you and everything because she didnt like who she was when you two were together, Andrea said.

      Nick, lets go, Brian said looking at Brizee. Nick looked at Brizee.

      Fine, you want it to be over, you want to be rid of me, fine, we are over, no more, Nick said. He left with Brian and Kevin. Andrea came in and hugged Brizee as she burst out crying.

      Im sorry that I lied to you, Brizee said.

      Briz, I understand why you did, Andrea said.

      I think I need to go home, Brizee said.

      Go, Ill cover for you, Andrea said. Brizee clocked out and got her purse and went home to her condo. She went in and laid down on her couch and cried softly. Her cell phone rang.

      Hello, Brizee said.

      Brizee, its Theresa, Brian told me everything, are you at work? Theresa asked.

      No, I just got home, Brizee said.

      Where do you live, me and Britt want to come see you, Theresa said. Brizee told her where she lived and ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Brizee got up and opened the door and saw Brittany and Theresa. They hugged her and came in. Brizee told them everything.

      Brian wasnt happy, he asked me if I wanted to be with him, I told him I did, I love Brian, Theresa said.

      I love Nick so much, I thought I was doing the right thing by leaving, I wasnt really happy, I didnt like who I was when I was with the tour, Im finally at peace with myself, Brizee said.

      We were there when Nicks parents came with the letter you left him, he swore up and down that he would find you, he loves you, Briz, Theresa said.

      Now its over, because Im happy now, really happy, Brizee said lying down.

      Briz, hell realize that its for the best, Brittany said.

      Was there any other girls with him on tour? Brizee asked.

      No, there wasnt, and he would push all the ones that threw themselves at him away, he was so set on finding you that nothing else mattered, Theresa said.
