Hayley, Nick, Brian, and Kevin were talking when the doorbell rang. Hayley got up and opened the door and saw her ex-boyfriend,
Adam. He grabbed her and she pulled away from him. Nick, Brian, and Kevin got up and came to the door.
“Who the hell are you?” Adam asked.
“I’m her husband,” Nick said.
“We are his friends, I suggest you leave Hayley alone,”
Brian said.
“You got married!” Adam said.
“Yeah, I am married, I have a restraining order against
you and you are violating it!” Hayley said. Brian called the cops. Two minutes later, two police
cars pulled up. Two officers came up and grabbed Adam.
“This isn’t over!” Adam yelled as they put
him into the car and they left. Hayley closed the door.
“That was your ex?” Nick asked.
“Yeah, I never had perfect relationships, after him,
I gave up trying to find that one guy,” Hayley said. She sat down and rubbed her face.
“Hayley, let’s move you up to Tampa, with me, where
he can’t find you,” Nick said.
“You don’t understand, he’ll find me, he
always finds me,” Hayley said.
“I have security gates, alarm systems, bodyguards,”
Nick said.
“Fine, I just scared of what he might do,” Hayley
said.
“How bad is this?” Brian asked.
“He’s dangerous, before I broke up with him, I
ended up in the hospital because of him,” Hayley said.
“Let’s
get you moved,” Nick said. They began packing up her stuff.
