Three weeks later,
Hayley went to the studio where the guys were recording. She walked in and saw a girl all over Nick. She noticed his hands
were pushing her away. She went over and pulled the girl by the hair.
“Excuse me, get your hands off my husband!” Hayley
said.
“What, I heard he was single,” the girl said.
“Well, he isn’t, he is my husband, and I’m
having his baby, who set you up to this?” Hayley asked.
“Some woman named Laura,” the girl said.
“How much is she paying you?” Hayley asked.
“One thousand dollars,” the girl said. Hayley looked
at Nick. He pulled out his wallet.
“Here is five thousand dollars to move on with your life
and never talk to Laura again,” Nick said. The girl nodded and left. Hayley sat down. Nick sat beside her.
“Honey,” Nick said.
“She won’t stop at nothing until I’m back
up there with her,” Hayley said. Nick took her home. Leighanne and Kristin came over and Nick left with Brian, Kevin,
Howie, and AJ. Hayley laid on the couch.
Nick and the guys arrived in Missouri and went to Laura’s house and knocked on the door. Laura opened it and
saw them. They went in and sat her down.
“Okay, Laura, this has got to stop, Hayley is done with
you, that last thing you did, paying some girl to come onto me and Hayley to see it and leave me, didn’t work, I paid
the girl to go and never speak to you again, Hayley is done, that was the last straw, I will not let you hurt her anymore,
she is having my baby and if she gets stressed out, she will miscarry, that will hurt her more than anything, do you want
to be a grandmother?” Nick asked.
“Yes, I do,” Laura said.
“Then stop this crap, Hayley is happy and in love, I
love her more than life itself, so what if she’s not living up here, she can come visit when she wants, I’m not
holding her back from that, but now after everything you’ve done, I don’t think she’ll want anything to
do with you ever again,” Nick said.
“Nick, I’m sorry, I just miss her so much,”
Laura said.
“How about moving down there, closer to her, she wants
to be in Florida, she loves it there,” Nick said.
“I’ll see what I can do,” Laura said. Brian’s
cell phone rang. He answered it. He hung up and looked at Nick.
“What,” Nick said.
“That was Leighanne, they are at the hospital, Hayley
lost the baby,” Brian said. Nick ran out the door with the guys and Laura behind him. They went back to Florida. They
went to the hospital and saw Leighanne and Kristin.
“Where is she,” Nick said.
“Room 111,” Kristin said as she hugged Kevin. Nick
went to the room and saw Hayley asleep. He went in and sat down and took her hand in his. She woke up and saw him and smiled.
“Nicky,” Hayley said.
“Hi honey,” Nick said kissing her hand.
“I’m so sorry,” Hayley said.
“It’s not your fault, sweetie, we’ll get
through this,” Nick said. Hayley looked up and saw her mother standing at the doorway.
