Nick stood there staring at Kevin and Hayley in bed, naked and couldn’t believe it. He stormed out the door.
Hayley got dressed and ran downstairs.
“Nick, wait!” Hayley said.
“Why, like you said, there was nothing romantic between
us and there never will be, we are just married, that’s all, but Kevin is married to Kristin and you just ruined their
marriage!” Nick said angrily.
“Kristin called Kevin and wanted to separate, she wanted
to see other people while she was in LA,” Hayley said.
“Is that what he told you?” Nick asked.
“Yes,” Hayley said.
“Bullshit, Kristin called me last night and wanted to
know if I had seen Kevin, she is home in Orlando, where she has been all this time,” Nick said angrily. Kevin came downstairs.
He looked at Nick and Hayley.
“Is everything okay?” Kevin asked. Hayley glared
at him.
“You lied to me, Kevin, you lied to get me into bed,”
Hayley said.
“What,” Kevin said.
“Kristin called Nick and asked if he had seen you, she’s
home in Orlando, isn’t she!” Hayley said. Kevin hung his head and nodded.
“Get out of my house, you bastard!” Hayley yelled.
Kevin went out the door. She went to the phone and picked it up and Nick took the phone and hung it up.
“What are you doing?” Nick asked.
“I was calling Kristin to tell her the truth,”
Hayley said.
“Let’s go tell her in person,” Nick said.
“I can’t believe I let myself be fooled,”
Hayley said.
“Come on, let’s go tell Kristin the truth, she
doesn’t deserve to be lied to,” Nick said. They went up to Orlando. They pulled into Kevin’s driveway and
got out of the car and went up to the door. Nick rang the doorbell. He looked at Hayley. The door opened and Kristin stood
there.
“Hey Kris,” Nick said hugging her.
“Hi Nicky, how are you,” Kristin said.
“I’m doing okay, Kris, this is my wife, Hayley,”
Nick said.
“Kevin told me about the marriage,” Kristin said.
“Can we come in, Kris?” Nick asked.
“Sure,” Kristin said. They went in and sat down.
Kristin came in and sat down.
“So what brings you by, Nick,” Kristin said sitting
down.
“You deserve to know the truth about your husband,”
Nick said. Kristin looked at him.
“What about him, Nick?” Kristin said.
“He was at Hayley’s last night, he seduced her,
Kris, got her into bed,” Nick said.
“You slept with my husband?!” Kristin said. Hayley
slowly nodded.
“But he lied to her, Kris, he told her a lie to get her
into bed, he told her you called and wanted a separation since you were in LA, he said you wanted to see other people,”
Nick said.
“Is this true?” Kristin asked. Hayley nodded.
“I feel stupid to believe anything he said,” Hayley
said.
“I can’t believe he would do this to me, he would
tell you lies,” Kristin said.
“Kristin, I am sorry for everything, I wish it never
happened,” Hayley said. The front door opened and closed and Kevin came in and saw Hayley and Nick
sitting there. He looked at Kristin who was glaring at him.
“Kris,” Kevin said.
“How dare you, you slept with another woman, and you
had to lie to get her into bed, how dare you do this to me and how dare you lie to Hayley about the status of our marriage!”
Kristin said. She slapped Kevin.
“Kris,” Kevin said.
“I want you out of here and I am filing for a divorce,
our marriage is over!” Kristin yelled. Kevin looked at Hayley and Nick and came over to them.
“How could you tell her!” Kevin yelled.
“We did what we thought was right, Kristin had to know
the truth, you are nothing to me,” Nick said as he took Hayley’s hand and started for the door and turned around.
“Oh and one more thing, stay away from my wife,” Nick said. They went out the door and he
drove back to Miami.
